Albina Shishova was a Soviet gymnast who trained at Dymano Rostov. The club is legendary for producing three consecutive Hall of Fame gymnasts. Albina was training partners alongside Natalia Yurchenko and together they were both named to the 1983 Soviet World Championships team representing the Soviet Union. Shishova’s strongest year was the 1983 season. Shishova never won an individual medal at the Olympics or World Championships, but she did win a bronze medal in the All-Around at the 1983 European Championships.
