Elena Shushunova is best known for winning the All-Around title at the 1988 Olympics. Shushunova remains one of the most successful dominant gymnasts in WAG history. She is one of just six gymnasts to have won the AA title at both the Olympics and the World Championships. Shushunova scored 13 Perfect-10s in her career, the second most in WAG history. Elena Shushunova passed away on August 16, 2018 at the age of 49.
