Khiuani Dias was a core member of the Brazilian national team from 2007-2009. She was part of Brazil’s famed 2007 Pan-American Games team which featured one of the most star studded lineups Brazil ever assembled. Dias was also on the 2007 World Championships team which gave one of the most successful performances in the Team Competition in Brazilian history. Khiuani Dias was considered a virtual lock for the 2008 Olympics until a hand injury shortly before the 2008 Games were set to begin prevented her from becoming an Olympian.
