Gymnastics is a sport typically dominated by large countries. In recent times Nina Derwael has had something to say about that. Belgium is one of the smallest countries to have ever won a medal in WAG, and its all thanks to Nina Derwael. Entering the 2020 Olympics Derwael was at the height of her career having won two consecutive titles on the uneven bars. Due to COVID-19 delaying the Olympics by an additional year, that is one more year Derwael has to wait and maintain top form. The 2021 uneven bars title is gearing up to be a highly competitive race. Motivated by bringing Belgium its first Olympic medal in women’s gymnastics, Derwael will be leading it
