After receiving so much positive feedback for doing a visualization of Simone’s medal count (LINK HERE) I have created visualizations for more gymnasts. I took the 63 gymnasts who won a medal in the last decade. The visualizations include every individual medal a gymnast won in her career, but her placement on the list is based on how many medals she won from 2010-2019. This is why Oksana Chusovitina is grouped next to gymnasts who have only two points worth of medals despite having the third highest medal count on this list. Medals are weighted with gold being full size, silver 2/3 size, and bronze being 1/3 size.
